Treforest
Treforest, along with Glyntaf lay approximately 1 mile south of Pontypridd town centre and are areas that offer a mix of family residential and student housing, owing to the burgeoning University of South Wales campuses in both Treforest and Glyntaf. The array of shops, bars and places to eat can be attributed to the influence of the university. The village is well connected by being just off a junction of the A470 as well as boasting its own train station which provides rail journeys from as little as 23 minutes to Cardiff city centre. Treforest is also home to two primary schools, Parc Lewis Primary and St. Michael’s Catholic Primary schools.
