Rhydyfelin & Hawthorn

Lying along the eastern banks of the River Taff and just off the A470 link road are the villages of Rhydyfelin and Hawthorn. These villages just south of Pontypridd are able to boast a mix of modern housing developments and older character properties. With its excellent commuter links and wide range of pubs, shops and supermarkets these quiet villages are very popular amongst buyers. In this area you can find the secondary schools of Hawthorn High School, Cardinal Newman Roman Catholic School and the Primary school of Heol-Y-Celyn School.
