Pwllgwaun

A small suburb to the north of the town centre Pwllgwaun largely consists of mining era terraced housing. Known locally as “The House of Pain”, Pwllgwaun is home to the famous Sardis Road rugby stadium, whereby a plethora of legendary rugby stars have graced the turf. Pwllgwaun is also a short distance from Evan James School as well as the local Lidl supermarket.
