Beddau

Beddau is located approximately 1.5 miles from Llantrisant, 4 miles from Pontypridd and is roughly 14 miles northwest of Cardiff. A large former mining village, Beddau is able to display remnants of its mining heritage with sections of the much loved Cwm Coke Works and Colliery visible from much of the village. The village is able to showcase a number shopping precincts and is home to two English speaking primary schools in Gwaunmiskin and Llwyncrwn, a Welsh speaking primary school in Castellau and a large English speaking comprehensive school named Bryn Celynnog
