Groesfaen
Groesfaen is small and highly sought after village just off the M4 motorway that offers a mix of attractive period properties and a number of executive detached homes. Groesfaen was originally a hamlet that sat near a trade route between Cowbridge and Cardiff and features a charming pub at the centre of the village, The Dynevor Arms.
Miskin
Originally a hamlet, Miskin has grown to a seizeable and highly sought after village that is located just off the M4 motorway and approximately a mile east of Pontyclun. It’s convenient location has led to a number of new developments sprouting around the village in recent years, offering plenty of substantially sized modern housing. At its centre you will find array of desirable period properties, the 19th century St. David’s church and Miskin Arms pub which offers up some outstanding meals. Nearby, you will find the Miskin Manor which was a manor house built in the 1860’s in a Tudor style. Nowadays the Manor is a hotel and is most certainly an elegant place to stay whilst also offering up regal wedding receptions.
