Church Village Area
A collection of former rural villages that have more less been amalgamated into one, the Church Village area, or more commonly known as the CF38 area, is seen as a highly desirable area to live. The CF38 area consists of the villages of Church Village, Tonteg, Llantwit Fardre, Beddau and Efail Isaf and is located approximately 11 miles northwest of Cardiff city centre and roughly 4 miles from the larger towns of Llantrisant & Pontypridd.
It’s proximity to the larger towns of Cardiff, Llantrisant & Pontypridd, coupled with the recognition that it is seen as peaceful and leafy suburb of the previously mentioned areas, the CF38 area has proved highly popular with buyers for a number of years. The CF38 area is approximately a 30 minute drive from Cardiff and benefits from regular bus services to Cardiff, Pontypridd and Talbot Green. The recent development of the Church Village bypass has also been revelation for the area by cutting journey times for local residents as well as easing congestion in main residential areas.
The area mainly consists of a diverse mix of quiet modern housing estates and charming period properties. The area also boasts a wide variety of Welsh and English speaking schools ranging across seven primary schools, two comprehensive schools an SEN school in Tonteg. One can also find an array amenities to enjoy in this location such as a number of bars, cafes and shops as well as the Tiny Tumblers soft play area in the centre of Church Village which always proves a hit amongst the little ones!
