Trehafod
Sitting on the banks of the River Rhondda, Trehafod is a small former mining village nestled between the principle towns of Pontypridd and Porth. The village the location of the Rhondda Heritage Park and which can give people an insight into what life was like for all of the mining communities that dominated this area. The village also benefits from a train station which provides services to Treherbert to the north and Cardiff to the south.
